1 Position: Post-doctoral fellow Organization: The Urban Health Collaborative at the Dornsife School of Public Health Posting date: April 19, 2016 Location: Philadelphia SUMMARY: The Urban Health Collaborative at the Dornsife School of Public Health is seeking postdoctoral fellows interested in the social determinants of health, places and health, and urban health more broadly, including cross-city and cross national comparisons of urban health.The Dornsife School of Public Health at Drexel University is the only CEPH-accredited School of Public Health in the Philadelphia area, and recently received a $45 million gift to expand the faculty and build new research and educational programs.

Candidates with also have the opportunity to collaborate with other faculty at the Dornsife School as well as with faculty engaged in multisite and collaborative projects both in Philadelphia and across the United States.Experience conducting multilevel and spatial analyses as well as longitudinal analyses is desirable.The School offers ample opportunities for interdisciplinary research and training in population health generally, including a new Urban Health Collaborative aimed at promoting research, training, and policy to improve health in cities both locally and globally.
